Our History

Prior to January 2013, Premier Living was known as Mothers & Others, Inc. Mothers & Others, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Chuck and Karen James. Each of them had their mother living with them and needing 24-hour care. The Home Plus concept was fairly new but seemed like the perfect solution to their mothers’ care needs. They decided to build a home large enough for them all to live together and even some rooms to care for others, hence, Mothers & Others. They built the location at 234 S. Anna Street in Wichita in 1998. It was the first Home Plus in Wichita built specifically for that purpose.

In 2012, the James’ decided to retire and sold the location to Michael and Brandi Warden in December. In January 2013, the Wardens completely remodeled and updated the property and now operate under the name of Premier Living by Warden, LLC.
